The plastic barrows used to help transport goods to market are now in danger of being used for more nefarious purposes.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking to sell more than 500,000 of the barrows to a Canadian company that intends to use them to haul in goods for the Chinese company, which will then sell them to consumers.
The sale would be the first of its kind in the U.S. The barrows have been used for decades as a transportation system by Chinese and other foreign firms to move products to markets in Asia and Europe.
The barrows are not just for transporting goods to the market, though.
