Real Madrid midfielder Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to sign a new five-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain

Paris Saint Germain are reportedly ready to sign Real Madrid’s Zlatán Ibrahimovic on a five-and-a-half-year deal.

The deal could be worth €80m per year and could be announced at the end of the week.

It’s reported that Ibrahimovic has told the French club that he wants to stay in the country.

It would make him the highest-paid player in the French top flight.

However, it’s believed that the 27-year-old has rejected offers from a number of European clubs and has instead opted for the offer of a new contract with the French champions.

The former Barcelona man made a career out of scoring goals at the Santiago Bernabeu.

He also won the Champions League with Real Madrid in 2008-09.
